Vercel is seeking a Presentation Designer to manage presentation design from conception to final delivery. This position involves crafting compelling visuals and storytelling frameworks for high-profile executive keynotes, strategy sessions, and customer-facing meetings. Vercel acts as an agentic infrastructure provider that helps builders move from ideas to production efficiently, serving major enterprises and millions of developers worldwide.
This role suits a systems-oriented designer who balances visual craft with narrative structure and scales design operations across the organization. The professional will collaborate closely with Creative, Brand, Executive, Product Marketing, Communications, Events, and Design Engineering teams. Primary duties include building and maintaining presentation systems, developing templates across multiple platforms, and partnering with engineers to create internal tooling. The position reports to the Director of Creative Design and is based on-site in San Francisco or New York City.
The chosen candidate will translate complicated technical concepts into accessible visual stories, support major corporate events and product launches, and iterate rapidly under tight deadlines. Ideal applicants possess significant visual communication experience, mastery of presentation software, and a track record of supporting executive speakers. Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end presentation design lifecycle from initial ideas to delivery across PowerPoint, Figma, Keynote, and Google Slides
- Develop and maintain a unified presentation design system including templates, component libraries, motion principles, and layout documentation
- Partner directly with executives and speakers to tailor narratives to specific audiences, formats, and voices
- Translate complex technical ideas into clear data visualizations and visual stories
- Collaborate with Design Engineering to prototype and build internal tools that improve presentation creation workflows
- Support major company moments such as product launches, customer events, and executive keynotes
- Establish governance and workflows for presentation assets to maintain consistency and brand integrity
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional background in visual communication, presentation design, brand design, or multimedia design
- Expert proficiency in Google Slides, Keynote, PowerPoint, and Figma Slides
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining scalable self-service presentation templates
- Strong understanding of asset governance, reusable components, and master layouts
- Background in developing visual narratives for B2B SaaS, developer tools, or technical products
- Track record of designing high-impact presentations for corporate main stages and executive meetings
Qualifications
- Motion design or motion graphics skills
- Experience building plugins, prototypes, automation, or internal creative tooling
- Understanding of front-end development or close collaboration experience with Design Engineering teams
