This position focuses on driving operational excellence across core trading activities within one of the world's fastest-expanding digital asset markets. The appointee will manage operational functions involving internal and external service providers, implement SLA frameworks and risk policies, and oversee critical business areas such as trading, custody, and staking operations to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Senior Executive Officer to oversee ADGM operational functions and service provider delivery against contractual and regulatory standards
- Implement operational policies, risk management processes, and service level agreement frameworks
- Maintain supervision frameworks for trading, custody, and staking operations aligned with regulatory expectations
- Build operational resilience frameworks encompassing contingency planning, risk identification, and vulnerability mitigation
- Coordinate incident responses and communicate with regulators, internal stakeholders, and service providers
- Manage relationships with banks, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to convey risk and operational strategies
- Project manage initiatives across legal, compliance, security, finance, product, and customer service teams
- Support first-line-of-defense tasks including launch approvals, audits, staffing, and launch assessments
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional background in Middle East financial services, operations strategy, or management and strategy consulting
- Experience working in a regulated investment dealer environment focusing on trade supervision in crypto, equities, or derivatives
- Demonstrated capability to create new processes and refine existing workflows for operational efficiency
- Experience collaborating across business functions with senior management engagement
- Ability to produce external-grade content with minimal review
- Strong presentation and communication skills suitable for a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with tokenization, digital asset markets, and the Web3 landscape
- Ability to utilize AI responsibly with human oversight to enhance workflow efficiency, quality, and cost
