Ro seeks an Instructional Designer to join its Care Delivery team on a remote basis. Ro operates as a direct-to-patient healthcare company offering nationwide telehealth, laboratory, and pharmacy services via a vertically integrated platform. In this position, the professional will create scalable learning programs for frontline personnel, including clinical and operational teams. The candidate will collaborate with Product, Clinical, Operations, and Quality & Safety experts to transform intricate details into practical educational materials. Responsibilities span the entire employment lifecycle, addressing onboarding, professional growth, system updates, product launches, and new clinical initiatives.

This role suits experienced instructional designers capable of handling technical and clinical complexity. The professional will determine appropriate training methods for both clinical and non-clinical groups, emphasizing decision-making and practical application. Candidates within the tri-state area work from headquarters on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while those residing outside the region participate in periodic in-person gatherings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage instructional design projects from conception to completion, focusing on asynchronous learning
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to identify shared learning requirements and produce modular content
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to simplify intricate clinical, technical, and operational details
  • Generate and upkeep training resources for onboarding, continuous development, and workflow updates

Requirements

  • Possess five or more years of background in a clinical or healthcare training environment
  • Demonstrate expertise in instructional design, covering adult learning principles, needs analysis, and assessment creation
  • Show proven capability to turn complex information into practical learning experiences
  • Bring hands-on experience utilizing eLearning tools such as Articulate 360
  • Exhibit a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting

Qualifications

  • Background in telemedicine training environments
  • Clinical experience, including registered nurse backgrounds
