In this capacity, the professional will direct the architecture responsible for handling all digital and fiat transactions, encompassing cryptocurrency networks, traditional banking rails, internal ledgers, and customer accounts. The individual will oversee the systems that guarantee every financial transfer reaches a correct terminal state, implementing preventive controls, real-time detection, and recovery mechanisms.

Responsibilities
- Establish the multi-year vision and strategy for money movement reliability, controls, and service levels across both fiat and cryptocurrency rails.
- Develop controls infrastructure to verify, track, and enforce risk, compliance, and financial rules before any funds transfer.
- Implement real-time detection and comprehensive tracing across payment networks, ledgers, and controls to swiftly identify and resolve failures.
- Utilize generative AI agents to propose controls from product specs, triage alerts, and execute governed remediation.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Finance, and internal product groups to establish control ownership and ensure accountability.
Requirements
- Possess at least 10 years of product management experience with deep expertise in financial platforms, ledgering, payments infrastructure, or money movement at scale.
- Demonstrate a proven background in owning strategies for large-scale financial systems, including transfers, payment processing, reconciliations, and ledgers.
- Exhibit technical fluency in distributed systems, event streaming, idempotency, double-entry ledgering, and detective or preventive controls.
- Show a demonstrated ability to set standards and enforce them across organizational boundaries within highly regulated industries.
- Utilize generative AI responsibly while maintaining human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, quality, and cost.
