Responsibilities
- Hire, manage, and develop a multi-team design group covering Code, Design Systems, Community, Model Context Protocol, and Content Management Systems
- Partner with engineering and product leads to enhance execution processes and guide teams in setting strategy and roadmaps
- Advocate for a clear perspective on the team product areas across the entire organization
- Lead critique sessions, sprints, and design reviews throughout the pillar
- Advance personal people management skills in a supportive, growth-focused environment
- Operate in a hands-on capacity across people management, strategy, and execution
Requirements
- At least 5 years of design management experience, including experience managing other managers and leading through change and ambiguity
- Deep familiarity with modern tooling, component-driven design practices, and recent developments in artificial intelligence
- Strong hands-on expertise using Figma tools to mentor and guide design teams
- Proven background in cross-functional collaboration to solve complex design challenges and achieve meaningful outcomes
- Strong communication and strategic thinking skills demonstrated through influencing teams and adopting a proactive, solution-oriented approach
