Key duties involve overseeing the full lifecycle of deal execution, building competitive intelligence reports, and maintaining connections with founders, investors, and industry participants. Responsibilities
- Manage the complete lifecycle of mergers and acquisitions and strategic investments, encompassing deal sourcing, financial evaluations, due diligence oversight, and integration preparation.
- Perform market studies and translate findings into strategic proposals to influence product and company direction.
- Generate competitive intelligence by analyzing industry competitors and outlining actionable insights for Coinbase.
- Work alongside senior personnel to build internal executive relationships and advance major strategic priorities.
- Establish and nurture connections with startups, venture capitalists, and market participants to identify fresh opportunities.
- Improve internal group procedures and participate in the recruitment and mentorship of new staff members.
Requirements
- Possess six to eight years of professional background in corporate development, investment banking, tier-one management consulting, strategic finance, venture capital, or private equity.
- Demonstrate a documented history of directing M&A or strategic investment deals through every phase, including financial modeling, transaction structuring, and due diligence.
- Show the capability to condense complex market information into straightforward strategic proposals for executive stakeholders.
