This early-to-mid career role centers on shaping product experiences across surfaces like the Homefeed. The chosen professional will help users navigate and trust adaptive features while maintaining serendipitous discovery. Responsibilities include collaborating across multiple disciplines, leveraging user insights, and applying emerging artificial intelligence tools throughout the content design lifecycle.

The position requires occasional in-person collaboration, specifically needing attendance in the office one to two times every six months, though the employee can reside anywhere in the country. Relocation assistance is not available. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, Research, and Data Science teams to build personalized experiences across Homefeed and discovery surfaces
  • Apply content design, information design, and user-centered methodologies to shape product recommendations and help users understand adaptations
  • Use research, data, and user feedback to inform content decisions and enhance the user journey
  • Build scalable content standards, frameworks, and patterns to foster clear and trustworthy personalized features
  • Utilize language to explain recommendation transparency and allow users to shape their platform experience
  • Incorporate emerging artificial intelligence tools and prompts throughout discovery, concepting, evaluation, and iteration stages
  • Share knowledge and help evolve team practices within the broader Content Design group

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in user-focused product content design, including complex, personalized, or data-informed environments
  • Demonstrated ability to shape content approaches beyond individual strings
  • Experience partnering effectively with cross-functional teams using a perspective grounded in user needs
  • Portfolio showcasing problem-solving through language, content strategy, and collaboration
  • Willingness to explore and apply artificial intelligence capabilities to design workflows
  • Availability to visit the office for in-person collaboration one to two times every six months
