This position is designed for individuals interested in web technologies who want to start a career in technical sales at a prominent developer tools organization. In this capacity, you will connect with product and engineering leaders at expanding enterprises to explain platform capabilities. You will team up with Account Executives to pinpoint, qualify, and develop opportunities within the Majors division, which represents the largest enterprise customers.
The role involves working alongside sales and product leadership, offering exposure to the software-as-a-service sales cycle. Success in this position requires independence, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage with large enterprise organizations. Responsibilities
- Identify and engage enterprise organizations suited for the platform
- Research prospective clients and customize outreach directed at product and engineering leaders
- Qualify inbound leads and create outbound opportunities through personalized communication
- Partner with Account Executives to develop pipeline and encourage adoption within the Majors segment
- Collaborate across departments with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to refine messaging and outreach effectiveness
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an outbound SDR
- Capability to navigate and prospect inside large Fortune 500 organizational structures
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
- Solid problem-solving abilities paired with attention to detail
- Self-motivated work ethic with the ability to function independently and collaborate cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Passion for web development alongside keeping up with current technological trends
- Background in computer science, web development, or a related technical field
- Familiarity with Vercel, Next.js, or other technical concepts
- Experience using Salesforce, Outreach, or similar software
