Vercel is seeking a Senior Manager, Solutions Architect to guide its APAC Solutions Architecture division. This position requires an experienced technical leader based in Sydney, Australia. The selected individual will oversee a regional team supporting pre and post-sales cycles, mentor staff, and collaborate closely with sales leadership to secure and grow accounts. Candidates will also partner with engineering departments to channel field insights into product development.

Responsibilities
- Manage, train, and develop the APAC Solutions Architecture team
- Maintain technical excellence across pre-sales and post-sales stages
- Deliver direct assistance for key accounts regarding architecture reviews, migration plans, and presentations
- Supervise and coach staff engagement on critical deals and strategic accounts
- Relay product feedback gathered from the field to the engineering organization
- Formulate repeatable plays based on observed regional trends
- Monitor and report team performance quarterly to Sales and Field Engineering leadership
- Handle organizational planning, headcount staffing, financial budgeting, and regional hiring
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years working in Solutions Architecture, Technical Pre-sales, Engineering, or Sales Engineering
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role
- Familiarity with web technologies including React, Next.js, Node.js, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
- Demonstrated history of scaling and coaching technical teams inside high-growth environments
- Track record of working with enterprise and commercial customers across various industries
- Knowledge of modern software development workflows such as DevOps, CI/CD, and frontend frameworks
- Experience cooperating with Engineering, Sales, and Product departments
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with Vercel, Next.js, or alternative frontend frameworks
- Background leading Solutions Architecture teams at high-growth SaaS or cloud infrastructure businesses
- Expertise in edge computing, developer tooling, or performance optimization
- Ability to present comfortably at large customer events, webinars, or conferences
