Job Description

Hippocratic AI seeks a remote Vice President, Customer Success to establish and scale a dedicated customer success organization focused on health plan and managed care accounts. The employer builds a safety-focused, healthcare-only large language model designed to transform patient outcomes at a global scale. In this position, the appointee will design operational frameworks, build high-performing teams, and drive retention and expansion across major payer clients utilizing artificial intelligence platforms for tasks such as prior authorization and utilization management.

This role suits an experienced customer success leader with a deep background in the health plan sector who can bridge clinical, operational, and executive perspectives. The position requires frequent engagement directly with clients, involving twenty-five to forty percent travel for executive reviews, clinical rounding, and visits to the company headquarters in Menlo Park, California.

Within the first ninety days, the incoming leader will complete a client base diagnostic, establish key performance indicators, build out initial team structures, and deliver measurable satisfaction improvements for strategic accounts. Over the course of a year, the professional will scale the department, build replicable onboarding playbooks, and foster strong net revenue retention.

  • Show deep understanding of managed care operations, claims processing, network management, and regulatory frameworks such as CMS and NCQA
  • Prove experience working with health plan stakeholders across medical management, population health, quality, information technology, and the C-suite
  • Display a data-driven mindset with hands-on experience leveraging metrics like HEDIS, STARS, and medical loss ratios
  • Show demonstrated experience scaling customer success teams and processes in high-growth startup or scaling technology environments
  • Commit to a field-facing schedule requiring 25 to 40 percent travel for multi-day onsite visits, executive reviews, and trips to Menlo Park headquarters
