Accesa is a technology enterprise with a workforce exceeding 1,200 IT professionals, holding headquarters in Cluj-Napoca alongside offices in Oradea, and bringing two decades of industry experience. In this position, the technical lead will collaborate with a client that acts as a prominent technology provider within the retail sector, supplying point-of-sale and store operations systems to various global markets. Responsibilities
- Manage architecture by defining clean repository, service, facade, DTO, and bridge contracts connecting Kotlin, platform-specific code, and the user interface layer
- Design, build, and maintain shared Kotlin Multiplatform modules for point-of-sale business capabilities to ensure high performance across Android and desktop targets
- Develop platform-specific code for Android and desktop environments utilizing expect and actual patterns without leaking platform details into shared logic
- Construct offline-capable workflows featuring local data persistence, caching mechanisms, synchronization readiness, and explicit failure handling
- Write maintainable and clean code, engage in code reviews, and execute refactoring on existing modules when necessary
- Develop automated tests covering domain rules, use cases, repositories, bridge contracts, and coroutine-based flows
- Partner closely with frontend engineers, quality assurance specialists, product owners, and architects to align on requirements, feature releases, and contracts
- Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced Kotlin developers while sharing knowledge across the team
- Adhere to established team processes and provide regular progress updates regarding technical decisions and trade-offs
Requirements
- Extensive practical experience utilizing React
- Extensive practical experience utilizing TypeScript
- Extensive practical experience utilizing GraphQL
- Familiarity with CSS-in-JS libraries such as PandaCSS
- Strong communication abilities with proactive engagement in discussions
- An independent, self-driven work ethic capable of taking complete ownership of decisions and tasks
