Selected interns take charge of a major backend assignment from planning to production. Participants work alongside experienced software engineers, receive guidance from a dedicated mentor, and build systems adhering to the scale and correctness standards of a live financial network. The position requires working on-site in Toronto at least three days each week.

Responsibilities
- Manage a high-impact backend project independently from initial scoping through launch
- Partner with an assigned mentor from onboarding to project delivery
- Design, construct, test, and release software solutions for a live financial platform

- Maintain and scale existing codebases utilizing Python, Django, Go, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, Memcached, AWS, and Kubernetes
Requirements
- Enrollment in a full-time, degree-seeking academic program
- Expected graduation date of Winter 2027 or Spring 2028
- On-site attendance at the Toronto, ON office at least three days per week
Qualifications
