This position sits at the intersection of site operations and digital merchandising, managing the day-to-day functionality of OSEA.com while shaping how products are discovered and experienced by consumers. The role suits an analytical professional with hands-on technical and ecommerce expertise who enjoys collaborating across departments.
The person in this role will take ownership of the site merchandising calendar, product ranking, search optimization, and inventory data management. Responsibilities include configuring promotional discounts in Shopify, directing onsite content strategy, refining site navigation, and partnering with engineering and marketing teams to improve search visibility and user experience.
Candidates should have direct experience in digital operations or ecommerce, familiarity with analytics and A/B testing platforms, and practical knowledge of Shopify. The position offers a salary range between $85,000 and $110,000 per year, determined by qualifications, experience, and location.
Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of the site merchandising calendar for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotions
- Oversee product ranking and presentation across homepages, category pages, collections, and blogs
- Analyze site behavior data, search trends, and engagement metrics to guide strategy and enhancements
- Direct onsite content strategy and coordinate asset briefs for marketing and product initiatives
- Configure cross-sell and upsell logic to enhance product discovery and basket building
- Optimize search results, top navigation, and filtering systems
- Partner with engineering to improve metadata and drive organic search visibility
- Create and configure discount codes, promotions, and product catalogs within Shopify
- Monitor inventory data, address discrepancies, and communicate updates to cross-functional partners
- Collaborate with customer experience teams to triage and resolve site bugs and technical issues
- Manage relationships with third-party app vendors and oversee integrations
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in ecommerce, digital operations, or site merchandising
- Practical, hands-on experience using Shopify
- Familiarity with A/B testing, heatmapping, personalization, and site analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Hotjar
- Must currently reside in the United States
Qualifications
- Prior background in the beauty or wellness industry
- Previous people management experience
- Familiarity with Shopify Flows and back-end product catalog management
- Experience utilizing artificial intelligence tools to streamline workflows
