Within the Workforce Optimization group, this position focuses on maintaining optimal staffing levels, balancing operational efficiency, and ensuring service standards are met across a 1 to 90 day timeframe.
The Short Term Planning Analyst will review data, locate performance discrepancies, and suggest staffing modifications. This individual collaborates with Operations, Forecasting, and business process outsourcing partners to align resource availability with customer demand, particularly during critical events.
This position is situated in the Chicago office and requires working on-site at least three days per week. It is well-suited for analytical professionals who thrive in fast-paced operational environments with shifting priorities and who want to influence workforce planning and business scalability.
Responsibilities
- Manage performance against key metrics including service level attainment and interval-level delivery
- Examine data trends to find the root causes of forecast variations and operational gaps
- Build and maintain reports and models for short-term staffing strategies
- Collaborate across departments with Operations, Forecasting, and BPO partners to boost productivity
- Convert raw data into actionable recommendations for leadership teams
- Execute real-time and short-term staffing changes during key business events
- Find ways to scale, automate, and refine workforce planning procedures
Requirements
- Possess one to three years of experience in operations, analytics, consulting, or a related problem-solving role
- Bring one to three years of direct experience collaborating with BPO partners
- Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities with advanced skill in Google Sheets or Excel
- Show experience handling data using SQL or comparable tools
Qualifications
- Familiarity with Python or R
- Proficiency with data visualization platforms like Looker or Tableau
