Fueled seeks an SEO & Analytics Strategist to join its Digital Growth Strategy team on a contract basis. Fueled is a digital strategy, design, and engineering agency comprised of over 300 team members who have built hundreds of digital products for prominent brands such as Google, Apple, The New York Times, ESPN, and MGM Resorts. In this role, the strategist will help clients implement actionable plans that impact business goals and audience outcomes by turning data-driven solutions into practical insights.
The position involves working on enterprise-level projects and ongoing engagements with a diverse client base that spans startups, nonprofits, and global organizations across media, technology, healthcare, and mission-driven sectors. This is a remote opportunity open to applicants located anywhere within the United States. The role provides access to the Fueled contractor network, offering project invitations tailored to expertise and availability, with potential opportunities to transition into full-time employment when business needs and fit align.
Responsibilities
- Shape search engine optimization and AI search strategies to expand brand visibility across traditional search engines and AI-driven answer engines
- Translate technical, content, and structured data insights into prioritized optimization roadmaps to improve site authority and machine readability
- Guide entity, content, and trust-signal enhancements to improve citation, attribution, and accuracy in AI-generated results
- Design measurement frameworks and experimentation approaches connecting search and content performance to client revenue outcomes
- Partner with clients and delivery teams to turn insights into scalable recommendations across projects and channels
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in SEO, audience growth, and analytics
- Familiarity with leading SEO and audit tools to generate prioritized recommendations
- Understanding of how AI and LLM-driven search functions to improve discoverability beyond standard search engine results pages
- Proficiency with analytics and tracking frameworks including GA4, GTM, and visualization tools
