Teramind is hiring a remote Senior Product Manager, AI and Endpoint to lead the Teramind Endpoint Agent and its associated AI Usage Control features. In this position, you will direct the roadmap, priorities, and outcomes for the agent organization, which comprises roughly half of Teramind's engineering team. You will work across server-side telemetry pipelines, low-level platform components, and multiple operating systems to develop capabilities that monitor local AI tools, endpoint activities, and security measures. This senior individual contributor role requires deep technical judgment, customer insight, and the ability to translate high-level business vision into concrete engineering specifications.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong systems or endpoint background and thrives in an environment focused on security trade-offs, performance, and outcome-driven execution. You will report to the VP of Product and collaborate alongside other product managers to define product KPIs, manage a unified backlog, and interface with major technology ecosystems such as Microsoft, Apple, and Linux.
Responsibilities
- Own the endpoint agent roadmap across Windows, macOS, Linux, and future platforms by balancing customer demand, performance, security hardening, and platform modernization on a single backlog
- Develop the endpoint layer for AI Usage Control to detect local models, terminal coding agents, IDE-embedded assistants, and native desktop clients that bypass traditional network and browser monitoring
- Translate business signals from executives, customers, sales, competitors, and engineering into a coherent technical roadmap
- Maintain enterprise standards for agent invisibility, tamper resistance, and reliability under difficult conditions
- Set and defend performance, footprint, and reliability metrics regarding CPU cycles, memory consumption, and battery usage
- Define, measure, and track product KPIs including adoption, rollout velocity, deployment success rates, crash frequencies, detection coverage, and OS patch turnaround times
- Represent Teramind in technical conversations with industry ecosystems such as Microsoft, Apple, Linux, MDM vendors, and major AV and EDR providers
Requirements
- At least 5 years of product management experience
- Minimum of 3 years owning a technical platform, SDK, agent, or systems-level product
- Technical depth capable of reasoning through Windows architecture, macOS system extensions, and trade-offs between Endpoint Security and Network Extension frameworks
- Understanding of how AI operates on computers across browser tabs, native desktop clients, IDE assistants, CLI coding agents, and local model runtimes
- Systems or endpoint background having shipped endpoint security, monitoring agents, OS-level tools, or systems software
- Demonstrated ability to focus on outcomes rather than features
- Familiarity with security trade-offs such as visibility versus privacy and cloud processing versus on-device intelligence
- Hands-on experience using AI for personal practice, prototyping, and model behavior evaluation
- Experience writing product requirement documents, decision memos, prioritization frameworks, release cadences, and engineering-facing specifications
Qualifications
- Earlier career engineering background in systems, kernel, driver, or low-level platform work
- Experience with Windows Filter Drivers, Minifilters, or WFP
- Experience with macOS Endpoint Security or Network Extensions
- Experience with Linux eBPF, kernel modules, or userspace agents
- Familiarity with MDM ecosystems including Jamf, Intune, Workspace ONE, and Kandji
- Experience in insider risk, data loss prevention, or behavioral analytics
- Knowledge of local model runtimes and on-device inference such as Ollama, LM Studio, and llama.cpp
- Familiarity with agentic AI encompassing tool calling, MCP, and autonomous coding or workflow agents
- Background in AI governance, AI security, or shadow AI discovery products
- Experience with EDR and AV co-existence and exclusion lists at scale
