Robinhood seeks a Senior Product Designer to drive strategy and execution for its core equities and trading product line. Operating in a high-visibility individual contributor capacity, this professional will guide the design of central trading platforms from concept to launch. This position is well-suited for an experienced practitioner who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and possesses a deep focus on interaction craft. Key responsibilities include evaluating and redesigning central trading surfaces, utilizing artificial intelligence tools to optimize design workflows, and partnering closely with engineering, product management, and legal teams.
The role is based on-site in Menlo Park, California, or New York, New York, with an expectation of in-person attendance at least three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute product design strategy to create rapid trading experiences for users
- Evaluate and redesign core trading surfaces such as ladder charts and order forms
- Partner with engineering, product management, design leadership, and legal teams from concept to production
- Assess and utilize artificial intelligence tools to optimize design workflows and build user-friendly solutions
- Provide transparent status updates to leadership and help shape long-term design standards for the trading team
Requirements
- Experience designing complex user interfaces and multifaceted products in financial technology, trading platforms, or complex editing applications
- Ability to operate independently and deliver results against weekly milestones
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate across multiple teams and present decisions to leadership
- Focus on interaction craft with the ability to evaluate how multiple product surfaces function as a cohesive system
