Robinhood is seeking a Product Designer to help shape the future of finance by building best-in-class financial experiences. In this role, you will take charge of visual and interaction design across the product ecosystem, guiding features from initial concept through to launch. Design at Robinhood is AI-first, making this position an ideal fit for designers who already incorporate artificial intelligence into their daily problem-solving and execution workflow.
This position requires working out of the Menlo Park, California or New York, New York offices at least three days per week. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product management, content design, and research teams to deliver scalable, user-focused solutions. Responsibilities
- Utilize artificial intelligence to examine problem spaces, uncover edge cases, stress-test concepts, and produce early prototypes
- Drive the end-to-end design of major features across Robinhood product offerings
- Produce cohesive and visually compelling designs that improve the user experience
- Partner closely with engineering, product, content, and research colleagues
- Contribute to the ongoing development and evolution of the corporate design system
- Establish standards for design craft and product excellence across the team
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of professional experience as a product designer accompanied by a strong visual design portfolio
- Demonstrated success in designing consumer-facing products, ideally within fintech or related domains
- Hands-on experience moving products seamlessly from initial concept to public launch
- Active incorporation of artificial intelligence into the design workflow, including large language models
- Strong systems thinking capabilities with the ability to build and sustain scalable design systems
- In-person attendance at either the Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY offices for a minimum of three days per week
