Lokalise is currently hiring a Senior People Partner for a 12-month fixed-term parental leave cover. The company operates an AI-driven localization platform designed to help businesses manage software and marketing content across various markets and languages. This remote position requires the candidate to reside and have legal work authorization in the UK, Spain, or Latvia, and is not open to B2B contractors or search firms.

In this role, the successful candidate will act as the dedicated HRBP for G&A and GTM functions, encompassing Finance, Legal, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. The position focuses on translating leadership priorities into actionable human resources decisions concerning compensation, organizational design, performance, talent, and employee relations. Working within a distributed, remote-first setup, the practitioner will collaborate closely with finance teams to model compensation budgets, manage Employer of Record engagements like Oyster across multiple European jurisdictions, and autonomously handle complex employee relations matters alongside external legal advisors when necessary. The ideal professional brings a business-first perspective, data-backed recommendations, and a proactive approach to driving continuous improvement in human resources practices.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the dedicated People Partner for G&A and GTM functions including Finance, Legal, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
  • Support stakeholder group priorities spanning talent acquisition, employee engagement, and professional development
  • Partner with Finance to model compensation cycle budgets and translate headcount and market data into recommendations
  • Manage EOR engagements, primarily using Oyster, and navigate employment cycle and compliance rules across European jurisdictions
  • Handle complex employee relations cases independently with involvement from EOR partners and external legal counsel as needed
  • Drive organizational design activities such as job architecture, job description development, level changes, and promotions
  • Collaborate with the Senior HRBP for Product & Engineering and People Ops to maintain a consistent company-wide human resources approach
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within remote human resources processes and practices

Requirements

  • Possess at least 5 years of progressive HR experience
  • Bring a minimum of 1 year of experience in a senior HRBP or HR leadership role
  • Demonstrate experience working with a fully distributed or remote team
  • Reside and hold legal work authorization in the UK, Spain, or Latvia
  • Show expertise across all human resources areas including employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational design
