Responsibilities
- Process accurate and timely bi-weekly, off-cycle, and manual payroll runs for multi-state US and Canadian workers
- Administer UKG Pro and Workforce Management Dimensions configurations, system troubleshooting, and vendor support coordination
- Revise current UKG workflows to eliminate manual workarounds and establish sustainable system controls
- Draft and preserve comprehensive standard operating procedures for payroll operations
- Oversee external international payroll partners across Germany, Australia, India, and the UK by reconciling data inputs and outputs
- Partner with the accounting team to reconcile payroll figures against the general ledger every cycle
- Monitor internal controls including proper segregation of duties, system access permissions, and approval workflows
- Process employee profile updates regarding leaves of absence, compensation adjustments, and structural changes
- Ensure seamless data integration from human resources systems into payroll for new hires and departures
- Handle state tax registrations, compliance filings, and employee tax profile maintenance
- Collaborate with benefits administrators and human resources business partners regarding deductions and open enrollment
- Safeguard sensitive personnel data with discretion and professional integrity
Requirements
- Possess five to seven years of direct payroll management experience
- Demonstrate at least three years of professional history operating UKG Pro or UltiPro
- Bring background handling multi-state US payroll systems and Canadian payroll processing
- Have familiarity coordinating international payroll functions alongside external vendors
- Demonstrate past work in an expanding enterprise supporting a workforce of 700 or more employees internationally
- Exhibit proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office applications, and G-Suite
Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field
- Obtain a Certified Payroll Professional designation
