In this position, the professional initiates contact with prospective non-member tradespeople to generate qualified opportunities for the account management sales team, helping trades expand their businesses.

Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential non-member trades across multiple channels to determine suitability
- Initiate contact through phone calls and emails to understand prospect needs and business pain points
- Communicate the value proposition of Checkatrade clearly to qualify sales opportunities rapidly
- Nurture leads through early stages before transferring them to account executives for closing
- Maintain accurate and current records of all leads and interactions inside Salesforce
- Collaborate with sales executives and colleagues to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion rates
Requirements
- Between zero and two years of background in business development, lead generation, client outreach, or a customer-facing capacity
- Demonstrated resilience and a results-oriented approach toward identifying and qualifying new prospects
- Strong communication abilities to establish quick rapport and convey messages clearly
- Organized and proactive pipeline management methodology
