Operating with a team of over three hundred people globally, the company seeks a Senior Finance Manager to join its London office on a full-time, on-site basis.
This position takes complete charge of the month-end close cycle, financial controls, statutory reporting, external audits, and everyday finance operations such as banking, treasury, and tax. The incoming professional will collaborate closely with the Director of Finance and the broader finance group while partnering with various departments across the enterprise to enhance the internal control environment and build scalable processes.

Responsibilities
- Manage the year-end audit process, handle statutory accounts, and act as the primary liaison for auditors
- Oversee the month-end close procedure to improve speed and accuracy
- Resolve previous audit findings and establish a robust controls framework for future business stages
- Automate and refine finance workflows by utilizing modern systems and artificial intelligence tools
- Partner with the FP&A department and other business units to maintain accurate reporting and embed controls into company spending
- Direct complex accounting matters and monitor changes in accounting standards
- Supervise invoice processing, outgoing payments, cash flow forecasting, banking operations, VAT, corporation tax, and R&D claims
Requirements
- Post-qualification experience working as a Finance Manager or in an equivalent capacity within a high-growth enterprise
- Demonstrated history of leading or supporting external audits alongside preparing statutory accounts
- Advanced technical accounting competencies
- Proven background in refining month-end closures, internal controls, and overall financial workflows
- Experience deploying finance systems and automation solutions aimed at reducing manual work through AI approaches
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities combined with familiarity using Xero or comparable platforms
- Ability to communicate clearly with non-finance personnel, advisers, and auditors
- Commitment to high accuracy standards and constructive challenge
Qualifications
- ACA qualification accompanied by audit training at a mid-tier or Big Four accounting firm
- Prior background working inside a D2C, technology, subscription, or digital health organization
- Experience with the rollout of new financial tools or software
- Demonstrated track record of elevating the overall performance of a finance department
