Teneo seeks a Senior Consultant to join its Management Consulting division in London on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, professionals support managers and directors by delivering client engagements, directing smaller projects, and overseeing discrete workstreams across research, analysis, insight, technical skills, and case delivery. The position involves collaborating with FTSE 100 corporations, Fortune 500 companies, public sector bodies, and private equity firms across sectors such as healthcare, consumer goods, software, transport, leisure, hospitality, and TMT.
The ideal candidate is an accomplished practitioner capable of functioning independently while guiding junior team members. Responsibilities include shaping initial hypotheses into verified recommendations, managing everyday client interactions, organizing project activities, and presenting insights directly to clients. Responsibilities
- Deliver client engagements and lead workstreams across research, analysis, insight, technical skills, and case delivery
- Direct smaller cases and manage day-to-day team operations with guidance from managers and directors
- Coordinate project activities, plan deliverables, and translate leadership requirements into actionable outputs
- Build and refine recommendations originating from initial hypotheses
- Oversee daily client communications, recognize client priorities, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Deliver findings, conclusions, and recommendations directly to clients and project teams
- Mentor junior colleagues and assist with business development initiatives and team objectives
Requirements
- Four to five years of relevant professional background, ideally within professional services or management consulting
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities
- Demonstrated history of leading workstreams and handling stakeholders in fast-paced settings
- Proven leadership aptitude with the capacity to guide less experienced team members
Qualifications
- Degree qualification, with a 2:1 preferred
- Prior management consulting background
- Exposure to operational improvement, commercial due diligence, strategy, or transformation initiatives
- Sector expertise relevant to Teneo clientele
- Experience participating in business development, thought leadership, or proposal creation
- Working proficiency in a major European language
