Gong.io is seeking a Professional Services Consultant to operate within its North America Professional Services Delivery team. In this hands-on, individual contributor position, you will guide Mid-Market and Small Enterprise clients through the deployment and adoption of the employer's revenue AI operating system.
Gong uses artificial intelligence to help over 5,000 businesses globally understand customer interactions, streamline sales processes, and improve deal execution. As a consultant, you will serve as the main functional expert responsible for achieving fast and effective business outcomes for clients.
Your time will be divided primarily between direct customer delivery tasks—such as discovery, business process mapping, system configuration, solution design, quality assurance, and supporting user adoption—and internal operational duties like refining delivery assets and collaborating with sales and customer success teams. This role suits professionals experienced in SaaS implementations and revenue operations who enjoy managing multiple concurrent projects in a collaborative, tech-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform discovery and map business processes to evaluate existing workflows and design optimal solutions
- Configure the platform manually to align with approved designs and client requirements
- Develop deployment documentation, configuration blueprints, and persona-based workflows
- Advise on organizational change management practices to encourage ongoing user adoption
- Manage quality assurance tasks, including test creation, User Acceptance Testing coordination, and hypercare support
- Partner with client technical staff to verify data, integrate systems, and handle security requirements
- Maintain product knowledge across the company suite and common third-party integrations
- Contribute to internal delivery templates and best practice guides
- Coordinate with sales and customer success teams to ensure smooth account transitions
Requirements
- Four or more years of consulting experience in a client-facing professional services environment
- Background focused on software-as-a-service implementations
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships across multiple functional teams
- Knowledge of revenue operations and business processes including sales cycles and pipeline management
- Ability to design and configure solutions within major CRM systems
