Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to assess needs and formulate Microsoft Purview solutions spanning Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms
- Build policies and controls focused on data classification, retention, and protection
- Coordinate with architects, clients, and data governance teams to align with regulatory standards
- Track and oversee data usage and access compliance via advanced governance tools
- Integrate Purview with Microsoft 365 applications and Azure services across teams
- Offer technical guidance regarding best practices and capabilities to stakeholders
- Produce thorough and accurate as-built documentation reflecting completed work
- Keep pace with emerging Azure and Microsoft 365 compliance capabilities
Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure capabilities of Microsoft Purview
- Background in compliance, risk management, classification, data governance, and data loss prevention
- Experience in client-focused consulting and guiding enterprise deployments
- Submission of a sanitized example deliverable demonstrating written work quality
Qualifications
- Robust familiarity with Azure architecture, services, and security best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and security configurations
- Familiarity with regulatory standards including GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001
- Relevant Azure or Microsoft 365 security and compliance certifications
- Capability in scripting and automation through PowerShell, Azure CLI, or related technologies
