Kraken, a long-standing crypto platform established in 2011 and operated by parent company Payward, is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to join its team in the United Kingdom on a full-time, on-site basis. This position centers on expanding Kraken Consumer growth across European Union nations, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region by identifying new acquisition channels, executing high-volume testing, and scaling profitable campaigns while carefully monitoring customer payback.
The person in this role will prioritize upcoming testing initiatives, manage budgets and platform partnerships, analyze metrics such as customer acquisition cost and cohort quality, and collaborate closely with creative and marketing technology teams. Ideal candidates are comfortable launching numerous monthly experiments, adapting strategies to regional preferences, and working through complex attribution data to turn successful tests into established growth channels.
Responsibilities
- Determine the next channels and campaigns to test by assessing market upside and identifying regional media partners
- Partner with creative strategists, creative staff, and marketing technology teams to launch tests covering messaging, formats, landing pages, and tracking
- Oversee partner discussions, budget allocations, quality assurance, and initial performance evaluations
- Adapt strategies to local audiences, languages, media habits, and regulations across different countries
- Evaluate performance using metrics such as funded customers, cohort quality, customer acquisition cost, incrementality, and payback rather than relying solely on platform return on ad spend
- Scale successful tests into permanent channels by developing new creative assets and campaign types
- Collaborate with other performance marketing team members to share insights and improve overall efficiency
Requirements
- Experience building a paid channel from scratch and driving meaningful results
- Ability to execute numerous tests monthly with clear hypotheses, budgets, measurement plans, and decision frameworks
- Familiarity with uncovering local growth opportunities across multiple countries
- Proficiency with customer acquisition cost, attribution, incrementality, cohort quality, lifetime value, and payback
- Understanding of how paid campaigns function on web and app platforms, from audience targeting to conversion tracking
- Capability to translate channel strategy into campaigns alongside creative and marketing technology teams
