This builder position focuses on establishing seamless legal workflows, administering contract management systems, and driving automation by default.

The role suits an autonomous operator who prefers automating manual processes using artificial intelligence tools and large language models. The incoming team member will maintain legal governance records, manage external counsel interactions, oversee software tooling, and support the revenue division through contract enablement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage contract lifecycle management administration and adoption for revenue teams
  • Optimize workflows, standard templates, and agreement playbooks
  • Review, redline, and draft standard commercial agreements
  • Design structured intake processes for company-wide legal workflows
  • Develop AI-powered workflows, agents, and automations to replace manual tasks
  • Keep privacy registers, artificial intelligence inventories, and compliance calendars up to date
  • Train cross-functional staff regarding self-service legal tools and escalation pathways
  • Oversee external counsel partnerships and the internal legal technology stack

Requirements

  • Possess three to five or more years of experience within legal operations, contract management, or as a paralegal
  • Include at least one to two years working in-house at a Software-as-a-Service or technology enterprise
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience implementing or rebuilding contract lifecycle management systems
  • Show background in reviewing and redlining buy-side and sell-side commercial contracts
  • Willingness to build and experiment with artificial intelligence tools, large language models, and automation platforms

  • Experience working at an organization experiencing rapid scaling
  • Background handling corporate governance tasks such as entity management, annual filings, and board documentation
