FreedomCare is seeking a Learning Specialist to join their People and Culture team on a full-time, remote basis. In this position, the Learning Specialist will shape employee growth by delivering training and building innovative educational content. Key duties include facilitating onboarding and leadership programs, designing educational materials, coaching staff, and measuring the impact of training initiatives. The role suits professionals experienced in training delivery who can work collaboratively across departments and adapt to dynamic business needs.

Responsibilities
- Lead facilitation for new hire onboarding, professional development, and leadership programs
- Design new training programs and update existing materials like presentations, quizzes, and job aids
- Provide targeted coaching, feedback, and individualized support plans to close performance gaps
- Assess training effectiveness using data-driven insights and progress tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align educational initiatives with organizational objectives
- Act as an interim manager for new hires to deliver structured feedback and performance discussions
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience working in a training role
- Experience delivering both virtual and in-person training sessions
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and remote training solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Teams
- Experience utilizing virtual conference applications such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Adobe Connect
- Willingness to travel occasionally to national company locations as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in education, communications, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Background working in education, communications, or human resources fields
- Prior experience within the healthcare industry
- Familiarity with Salesforce
- Previous telephonic customer service experience, especially in healthcare administration
