Job Description
Gilbert Pharmaceuticals is hiring a full-time, on-site Head of Design & Development & Construction to oversee the complete lifecycle of launching new compounding pharmacies across the United States. This position bridges pharmacy operations with construction, facilities engineering, and regulatory compliance, taking new sites from initial concept through licensure and go-live. Gilbert Pharmaceuticals operates with an AI-first approach where self-serve research and language models are integrated into daily workflows, requiring candidates who treat artificial intelligence as a genuine collaborator. The position requires frequent travel to pharmacy locations for construction oversight, inspections, and launch support.
