Juvare, a SaaS enterprise resilience software provider that supports emergency response incidents globally, is hiring a full-time Federal Project Manager. Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, this position focuses on Federal and Department of War initiatives within the software implementation and technology services team. The successful candidate will drive project plans, coordinate stakeholders, monitor progress, and deliver software, training, and documentation to clients while adhering to strategic and business goals.
This role is well-suited for a professional experienced in client-facing technology project management who can manage financial performance, resource allocation, and risk mitigation. The position involves working under the guidance of leadership to oversee implementations that range from brief two-week engagements to ongoing projects. The selected individual will act as the primary advisor to multiple clients, manage budgets and go-lives, and collaborate closely with internal product engineering, sales, and client success teams.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact and advisor for clients during software implementations and enhancements
- Oversee project scope, budget, schedules, and go-live dates while preventing budget and timeline drift
- Identify, document, and manage execution, resource, and client risks with mitigation strategies
- Resolve project conflicts, issues, and decisions to ensure positive client outcomes
- Handle financial planning, budgeting, forecasting resource costs, and tracking revenue recognition accuracy
- Collaborate with delivery leaders to align team skill sets with client requirements
- Assist sales and client success teams in retaining accounts, scoping new services, and answering Requests for Proposal
- Partner with the product engineering group on necessary integrations and enhancements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of technology project management experience
- At least 3 years of experience in client-facing project management roles
- Active Public Trust Security Clearance or higher, or the ability to pass a PTSC background check
- Willingness to travel up to 25 percent of the time to client or company sites
- Compliance with Export Administration Regulations and eligibility as a U.S. Person
Qualifications
- Client project experience in emergency management, government, healthcare, education, defense, aviation, or transportation
- PMP or similar project management certifications, or willingness to earn the PMP within 12 months of hire
- Situational Leadership skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with NetSuite
