The organization seeks a Director, IT & Business Enablement to oversee the systems, software stack, and technology experience empowering every internal team remotely. In this position, you will direct the complete lifecycle of internal technology, balancing high availability and usability while driving artificial intelligence adoption across all company workflows. You will partner closely with finance for budget planning and vendor management, lead hardware and endpoint provisioning, manage identity systems, and build scalable IT processes and documentation from the ground up.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced technology leader energized by automation, internal tool optimization, and mentoring global workforce support teams. The selected professional will serve as the primary resource for employee hardware needs and software utilization decisions, translating complex technical choices into clear financial terms for leadership.
Responsibilities
- Build, scale, and lead the IT team supporting a global workforce
- Manage end-to-end technology needs including new hire equipment and productive workplace tools
- Oversee the complete endpoint lifecycle covering provisioning, application deployment, patching, and asset retirement
- Administer corporate identity systems to control access to infrastructure and internal systems
- Drive secure artificial intelligence adoption by integrating AI capabilities into internal workflows and maximizing return on investment
- Evaluate, choose, and manage SaaS tooling, software stacks, and hardware vendor relationships
- Collaborate with the finance department on software and hardware budget planning
- Produce and maintain documentation for internal support workflows, systems, and IT processes
- Design and execute internal training programs to boost tool adoption across the company
Requirements
- More than 10 years of background in technology operations, systems administration, or IT management
- At least 5 years of experience leading a team
- Demonstrated history of managing endpoint lifecycle management at scale for hybrid-remote or fully remote teams
- Practical expertise administering modern SaaS tool stacks including identity management, collaboration tools, and mobile device management
- Proven track record of driving artificial intelligence tool adoption across a team or company rather than just personal use
- Experience handling hardware and software budgets alongside vendor relationships while translating technical decisions into financial metrics
- Background in creating support systems, documentation, and operational processes from scratch
- Excellent cross-functional communication abilities acting as a technical translator between engineering, finance, and non-technical staff

For high cost of living areas in the US like San Francisco, Seattle, and New York City, the expected range is $200,000 to $230,000 USD. For all other US locations, the range is $180,000 to $220,000 USD. Both ranges include bonus eligibility and equity. Locations outside the US are evaluated individually during the interview process.
