This position sits within the Crypto Product Compliance unit, collaborating closely with legal, risk, operations, and product departments. Responsibilities span the complete product lifecycle, from initial concept through post-launch updates.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, legal, risk, and operations teams throughout the design, testing, release, and updating of crypto offerings
- Provide advice regarding anti-money laundering, financial crimes, sanctions, and consumer protection regulations
- Establish compliance frameworks for brand-new digital asset products
- Examine product features, advertising assets, and customer messaging to verify alignment with regulatory mandates
- Deliver prompt guidance to business partners concerning regulatory updates and product inquiries
- Assist with regulatory inquiries, audits, and internal testing or monitoring activities tied to cryptocurrency offerings
Requirements
- At least seven years of background in financial services, including compliance, risk, legal, audit, or operations work supporting crypto goods
- Direct exposure to traditional brokerage merchandise
- Familiarity with financial crimes, sanctions, and anti-money laundering rules relevant to digital assets
- Experience providing counsel on consumer protection regulations
- Experience advising on decentralized finance initiatives
- Mandatory understanding of MiFID requirements
- Capacity to organize projects and coordinate across technical and non-technical teams
- Written and verbal communication skills appropriate for presenting guidance to leadership
