Blend is seeking a Business Analyst, Card Portfolio Analytics to deliver dedicated reporting and analytics for a Fortune 100 financial services client. In this role, you will support a community financial institution's card portfolio with a strong emphasis on a brand-new card program. You will act as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, translating quantitative metrics into actionable insights and practical recommendations.
This position is ideal for an experienced analytical professional with a background in card services or portfolio management who thrives in a collaborative, business-facing environment. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing recurring dashboards, researching data to answer ongoing business questions, and identifying performance drivers.
The engagement is structured as an approximate 9-month consulting role with potential for extension. It is fully remote within the United States, though candidates must operate on Pacific or Mountain Time and be able to work on Blend's W2 without sponsorship. Blend is an equal opportunity employer.
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing analytics and reporting support for a card portfolio and new card program
- Develop, refine, and maintain recurring business reports and dashboards
- Research data and translate findings into clear business insights to answer ongoing inquiries
- Analyze portfolio performance trends and key drivers to identify opportunities and challenges
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable analysis
- Evaluate existing reporting processes to streamline deliverables and reduce manual effort
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in business analysis, data analysis, reporting, card services, card operations, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of payments, card services, card operations, or card portfolio management
- Must be able to work fully remote within the U.S. on Pacific or Mountain Time
- Must be able to work on Blend's W2 without sponsorship
Qualifications
- Experience supporting a card-product launch or portfolio optimization initiative
- Strong familiarity with DataChoice, First Data, or Symitar
- Experience simplifying or automating recurring reporting processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Copilot or similar AI-enabled productivity tools
- Exposure to AI coding or development-assistance tools
