Green Thumb Industries (GTI) seeks an Associate IT Operations Engineer to join their remote team on a full-time basis. This position is well-suited for individuals who want to learn and grow in a hands-on technical environment, supporting both end-user devices and underlying technology infrastructure.

The person in this role will travel up to 40 percent of the time to support various consumer packaged goods and manufacturing sites. Responsibilities include resolving technical issues through a helpdesk system, monitoring infrastructure alerts, maintaining system health, and participating in an on-call rotation for weekends, holidays, and after-hours needs.

Qualified applicants must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to pass background checks and state cannabis licensing and badging requirements. The compensation for this position ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 USD, with potential eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, install, and maintain end-user hardware such as PCs, laptops, VoIP phones, and retail Point of Sale systems
  • Assist in managing Dell and Nutanix servers, Windows Server environments, and network equipment including Meraki and Fortinet switches
  • Monitor and respond to helpdesk tickets using Fresh Service and address system alerts via SolarWinds
  • Participate in after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call support rotations
  • Travel up to 40 percent of the time to support manufacturing and consumer packaged goods sites
  • Configure software, apply patches, and routinely test IT system performance for security and reliability
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and setting up equipment

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Up to two years of experience or training in IT support or related fields
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass state cannabis licensing requirements and federal background checks
  • Must be and remain compliant with legal and company regulations for the industry
  • Must be approved by the state badging agency to work in the cannabis industry
