Job Description

PerfectServe seeks an Analyst, Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships to join its team on a remote basis. This position reports directly to the Chief Strategy Officer and provides high-visibility exposure to executive leadership, the board, and private equity sponsor K1 Investment Management. The ideal candidate is an early-career professional motivated by relationship-building and deal-making who wants to learn corporate development through hands-on work.

The employer builds clinical communication and scheduling technology designed to help care teams deliver faster and safer care. Serving hospitals and ambulatory practices across the country, the company operates in the health IT space with a cloud-based platform backed by K1 Investment Management. The organization adheres to core values of collaboration, integrity, innovation, service, purpose, and inclusion.

The role centers heavily on proactive off-market sourcing, requiring the analyst to identify acquisition and partnership targets independently through research, cold calling, and cold emailing. Responsibilities include owning the pipeline from initial contact, conducting deal screening and financial analyses, supporting due diligence workstreams, drafting board-ready materials, and managing live deal mechanics. The position requires comfort with ambiguity, persistence through repeated rejections, and a scrappy, low-ego approach to unglamorous execution tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of acquisition and partnership targets using proactive off-market outreach.
  • Conduct cold calls and cold emails to owners, founders, and executives at target companies.
  • Uncover opportunities by researching industry forums, conferences, trade associations, and online communities.
  • Manage the relationship pipeline by updating statuses, scheduling follow-ups, and running initial conversations.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Build financial models and analyses to support deal screening and synergy sizing.
  • Support internal commercial, financial, clinical, product, HR, and technology due diligence workstreams.
  • Draft board and investor-ready materials such as decks, one-pagers, and financial summaries.
  • Manage live deal mechanics including data rooms, trackers, timelines, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Maintain a structured view of partner and channel relationships and assist with agreement negotiations.

Requirements

  • Possess at least two years of relevant professional experience in investment banking, corporate development, sales, business development, or a similar relationship-driven deal role.
  • Demonstrate comfort with cold outreach and the ability to maintain persistence despite frequent rejections.
  • Exhibit financial and analytical fundamentals capable of building basic models and synthesizing diligence findings.
  • Provide strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for interacting with founders, bankers, and board members.

Qualifications

  • Bring prior experience or exposure to healthcare, healthcare IT, or SaaS.
